The Kalkaska County Animal Shelter is open Monday thru Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm. Please arrive no later than a half-hour before close to allow sufficient time to assist you. The shelter is closed on most legal holidays.

Adoption Fees:

*No spay/neuter deposit required for animals that are already spayed or neutered. (Many of our animals already are.) The spay/neuter deposit is refunded if you have the adopted animal spayed or neutered within 30 days.
